Subclass 300 Prospective Marriage visa (also known as Fiance visa)

You may be eligible to apply for this visa If you are intending to marry your partner in Australia who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. In order to be eligible for this visa, you must meet the following:

• be outside of Australia at time of visa application;
• you and your partner in Australia must be aged 18 years or older;
• you and your partner must have met in person after you each turned 18 years of age and be known to each other personally;
• have genuine intention to marry your partner in Australia within the 9-month visa period; and
• have a genuine intention to live together as spouses.
• Pass the health and character requirements.

• Travel in and out of Australia while your visa is valid;
• Eligibility to apply for Partner visa
