Genuine Temporary Entrant

The most common cause of refusal for Student visa applications is the applicant’s ability in meeting the ‘Genuine Temporary Entrant’ or ‘GTE’ requirement. As applicants of this visa, the Department of Home Affairs must be satisfied that you genuinely intend to temporarily stay in Australia for the purpose of studying.

  • The relationship of the course to your future plans
